Need a home inspection in Banks?

BANKS, OR

Banks is located on the furthest western edge of Washington County where OR6 and OR47 intersect. It is a small rural community of 1,900 people mostly agriculture, majority of which are occupied by families. There are 3 public schools in the Banks School District covering the primary, middle and high school grades.

Banks is run by mom and pop shops and local tradesmen, which means there is no shortage of hospitality. The town is also located minutes from cities like Hillsboro and Forest Grove with more shopping and resources just a short drive away.

It is home to the Sunset Speedway Race track and Banks-Vernionia State Trail. This is a 21mile paved trail that runs along an abandoned railroad bed. Along the trail you will often find hikers, bikers and horse trail riders. There are also several fishing and picnicking spots along the trail. Banks is located just outside of Portland’s Urban Growth Boundary, which means it will always be designated agricultural land and can’t be developed for Urban use. So the small towns can live on.
